Last night at Victoria's Conference centre, RE/MAX Alliance of Victoria was named REAL ESTATE COMPANY OF THE YEAR for all of Vancouver Island for 2005.

The award is based on business and employment growth, innovation, profitability, community citizenship and environmental practices among other criterion.

Owner Ron Neal reports their office had more than $100 Million in sales in 2005, more than doubling their business from the previous year.

Alliance associates contribute a portion of each of their sale proceeds to the BC Children's Hospital in addition to supporting many other causes including United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Crimestoppers, Cancer Foundation, Minor Hockey, Little League Baseball, Queen Alexandra Hospital, Diabetes Association, Heart Foundation, Vancouver Island Hospital Foundation and more.
